The works consisted of the construction of 3 new bridges, 1 refurbishment and various protection slabs.

The Group supplied all plant, temporary works and labour to carry out the contracted works.

One of the Rail structures that was built was constructed off line using pioneering Technology to eliminate any disruption to Network Rail. The French company Fressynait were the designers of the innovative Technology and Costain appointed the Barrett Group, (due to its vast bridge building experience) to build the first of this design in the UK.

The works were programmed to begin in July 2015 with completion 46 weeks later.
